The Promises

Our pastor believes that honoring God with our tithes is the foundation of a healthy Christian life and a healthy church. An understanding of Bible-based financial principles and responsibilities is essential for successful Christian living.

“Beloved, I wish above all things that though mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” III John 1:2

“Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom.” Luke 6:38

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.’” Matthew 6:33

“Delight thyself also in the Lord; and He shall give thee the desires of thine heart.”  Psalm 37:4

“Honor the Lord with thy substance, and with the first fruits of all thine increase: so shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.”  Proverbs 3:9-10

“He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.”  II Corinthians 9:6

“Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of Hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.  And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of Hosts.”  Malachi 3:10-11
