On Nov. 21, 2009, Broward Right to Life honored Rev. O’Neal Dozier with the prestigious Bart. T. Heffernan Guardian of Life Award for his unwavering efforts in pushing for a murder charge against Belkis Gonzalez.

Gonzalez, an unlicensed abortion clinic owner, allegedly intentionally killed a baby born alive after a botched abortion in a Hialeah abortion clinic.

Also, Rev. O’Neal Dozier was honored for being a strong advocate for the protection of the unborn for over two decades, by preaching and rallying against abortion from the pulpit as well as in the streets and in the media.

The award was presented to Rev. O’Neal Dozier at the “Broward Right to Life Benefit Breakfast”, which was held at the Deerfield Beach Hilton Hotel.

Rev. Dozier is a strong advocate for the protection of the unborn because he realizes that approximately 38 percent of the more than 50 million babies aborted in the United States since the passing of Rowe vs. Wade have been African American babies. Rev. Dozier also realizes that these 19 million more African Americans could have strengthened the economic and political power of Black Americans in the United States. Instead of being reduced to the second largest minority behind the Hispanics, African-Americans would still have been the largest minority in the Unites States. Rev. Dozier is calling on all African Americans in the United States to join him in his fight to prevent the continued slaughter of our unborn children.
